At Pleasant Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing here in Little Rock, care extends far beyond our walls. We recently had the joy of participating in two special events that perfectly capture the heart of what we do.
We were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas as a presenting sponsor for their annual Baggo, Brats, and Blues fundraiser. Organizations like Habitat do life-changing work across our region by providing affordable housing, creating opportunities, and giving families the profound peace of mind that comes with having a place to call home. We are passionate about supporting initiatives that uplift our neighbors, and it was a true privilege to be part of something so meaningful.
Closer to home, our greatest joy always comes from celebrating our residents. We recently had the pleasure of cheering on the wonderful Velma Poe as she represented Pleasant Valley in the Arkansas Health Care Association District One Pageant. Seeing Velma out there enjoying the moment and representing our community with such grace meant the world to all of us. Experiences like this bring immense pride to our staff, celebrate the vibrant individuality of our residents, and remind us exactly why we love what we do. We loved cheering you on, Velma!
