Pleasant Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center services provide the nurturing care necessary to ensure a prompt and healthy recovery. When it’s time to leave the hospital, but there’s still healing to be had, where do you go? At Pleasant Valley, our comprehensive rehabilitation program caters to the mental and physical requirements of each elder. We work on improving physical strength and the performance of daily living activities. Whether a short stay is needed for respite care or recovery from injury or illness, the Pleasant Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center team continually monitors the medical and psychological progress of each elder.
Respite Care
Respite Care provides temporary relief for the primary caregiver of a sick, aging, or disabled family member. Whether for a few hours a week or an extended period, respite care has positive benefits for both caregiver and family member. Caregivers get a much-needed break to rest and replenish their own energy, while their beloved family member enjoys a change of scenery, routine, and stimulation in a safe, caring environment.
