July has been full of sunshine, smiles, and sweet memories here at Pleasant Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing. From festive celebrations to refreshing summer treats, our residents have enjoyed every moment.
Our residents had an absolute blast celebrating Independence Day with a festive gathering that included live music, hotdogs, and plenty of juicy watermelon—a perfect way to enjoy the summer holiday. A huge thank you to Paul Morphis for sharing his incredible talent and putting on a fantastic show that had everyone tapping their toes and singing along. Your music brought so much joy to our community, and we truly appreciate you helping make the day so special.
The fun continued on July 10th when we teamed up with Sterling from Baptist Health at Home – Hospice & Supportive Care to host a refreshing Watermelon Summer Social. It was the perfect treat for these hot Arkansas days, and our residents had a great time staying cool, enjoying sweet slices of watermelon, and spending time together.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Stephanie on our women’s unit, who brings so much beauty and care to our space every day. She truly has a green thumb, and it shows—her love for tending to the plants adds life, color, and a peaceful touch that our residents and staff deeply appreciate.
At Pleasant Valley, we cherish these moments of connection and celebration. Thank you to everyone who helps make our community such a joyful place to call home.
